SOCIAL FINANCE ISRAEL AT THE G8 TASKFORCE
On December 5th, 2013, a Social Impact Bond that may be used to reduce development of type 2 diabetes in high-risk pre-diabetics was presented to the Social Impact Investment Taskforce of the G8. This was one of only a few ocassions that Israel has participated in an official G8 forum.
Social Finance Israel delivered a presentation and policy paper to the Taskfoce, that explained the full details of how this Social Impact Bond may be developed. This paper, Planning a Social Impact Bond to reduce development of type 2 diabetes in high-risk pre-diabetics, was written by Social Finance Israel together with Clalit Health Services and experts in the field of diabetes from Hadassah Medical Center and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

On April 7th 2014, Social finance Israel, in collaboration with the Rothschild Caesarea Foundation, presented to the leaders of the G8 Task Force an innovation in the approach to reducing drop out rates from higher education, funded through Social Impact Bonds, promoting Israel as hub of social innovation.
